Support our Veterans through a Unique Partnership between the Red Sox and Mass General

Meaghan Jeffery, daughter of our very own Joanne Jeffery, is participating in this year’s Run to Home Base! She needs our help meeting her donation goal for this exceptional program that seeks to help service members, post-9/11 veterans, and their families with “invisible injuries.” This includes post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, anxiety, depression, and much more. Home Base was founded by the Red Sox and Mass General Hospital in 2007 and is the nation’s first partnership between an academic medical center and a major league baseball team. Since its inception, it has served more than 9,000 veterans and their families with care and support.

Meaghan will be showing her support on July 23rd by running through downtown Boston and ending at Fenway Park’s historic home plate! We may not all be runners like Meaghan, but we can still show our support for the men and women who have heroically served our country. Click here to make a donation on the Forward Advantage Foundation website. The Foundation will match all donations up to $5,000!
